For a short time as part of the Federal Energy Bill passed in 2005, you can obtain a tax credit of 10% of the total cost of installing SPF in your home up to $500.

Builders can obtain a $2,000 tax deduction for providing 50% greater energy efficiency in new homes and $1,000 tax deduction for saving 30% energy on manufactured homes.*
